My alarm didn’t ring or didn’t speak.

On iOS 26, allow Alarm That Talks to schedule alarms when asked (or in iOS Settings ▸ Alarm That Talks), so it rings through Silent mode and Focus. On earlier iOS versions, allow notifications and keep Sound on for the app. Make sure the alarm’s Sound is set to Alarm Text and its message isn’t empty, then tap play in the editor to hear exactly what it will say.

The voice sounds robotic. Can I get a better one?

Pro lets you pick any voice your device has. For the most natural ones, download Enhanced or Premium voices in iOS Settings ▸ Accessibility ▸ Spoken Content ▸ Voices; they then appear in the app automatically.

How do wake-up challenges work?

Choose Shake to Dismiss (free) or Math Problem (Pro) when you edit an alarm. The alarm stops as soon as you interact with it; completing the challenge is what keeps your wake-up streak going. Challenge alarms don’t offer Snooze.

How many alarms can I create for free?

Your first talking alarm is free, with every built-in sound and the Shake challenge. Pro unlocks unlimited alarms, the Math challenge, voice, language, speed and pitch choices and custom snooze length.

I subscribed but Pro isn’t unlocked.

Open the app while connected to the internet, then tap Settings ▸ Restore Purchases. Make sure you’re signed in with the same Apple Account you subscribed with.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are managed by Apple: iOS Settings ▸ your name ▸ Subscriptions ▸ Alarm That Talks. Cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date to avoid being charged for the next period.

Does it work on Apple Watch?

Yes. You can see, create and edit alarms on your watch. Alarms are spoken by your iPhone and your watch alerts you, so keep your iPhone nearby overnight.
