What stays on your device
Your alarms, the messages they speak, repeat days, sounds, voice settings, wake-up streaks and app settings are saved on your iPhone or iPad. They are not sent to me. Spoken alarms are created by your device’s built-in speech voices, so the text you type is never uploaded to read it aloud.
Apple Watch and widgets
If you use the Apple Watch app or the widgets, your alarms are shared directly between your own devices through Apple’s system frameworks. Nothing passes through my servers.
Wake-up challenges
The Shake challenge reads your device’s motion sensors only while the challenge is on screen, to count the shake. The data stays on your device.
Usage statistics
To fix problems and improve the app, it sends anonymous usage statistics (for example which screens you open, whether an alarm was created and whether a purchase screen was shown) to Google Analytics for Firebase. They are tied to a random identifier Firebase creates for this installation, not to you, and Google may derive an approximate country or region from your connection. Analytics does not use the advertising identifier and never receives the text of your alarms. The app also uses Firebase Remote Config to receive settings such as which screen design to show. Firebase’s privacy information applies.
Advertising measurement (only if you allow tracking)
The app shows no ads. It asks once whether it may track, so I can measure which of my ads on Meta (Facebook and Instagram) lead to installs and subscriptions. Only if you allow it, the Meta SDK sends app events such as installs, opens and purchases, together with your device’s advertising identifier, to Meta. If you don’t allow it, nothing is sent to Meta and the app works exactly the same. You can change this any time in iOS Settings ▸ Privacy & Security ▸ Tracking. Meta’s privacy policy applies.
Purchases
Subscriptions are handled by Apple through the App Store; I never see your payment details. My purchase service, RevenueCat, keeps an anonymous record of your purchase history (tied to a random app user identifier) so purchases can be validated and restored on your other devices. RevenueCat’s privacy policy applies.
Promo codes
If you redeem a promo code, the app checks it against a code list stored in Google Cloud Firestore and counts the redemption. No personal information is attached to it.
Notifications and alarms
Alarms and reminders are scheduled on your device with Apple’s alarm and notification systems. Nothing is sent to me.
Children
The app is suitable for all ages but is not directed at children under 13. It does not ask for or knowingly collect personal information such as names, email addresses or contacts.
Deleting your data
Delete the app to remove everything it stored on your device. To have the anonymous statistics or purchase records linked to your installation deleted, email me with the approximate date you last used the app and I’ll take care of it.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it.
