Who operates Visa Track

Visa Track is operated by Ebubekir Sezer. In this policy, “I” and “my” refer to Ebubekir Sezer, and “the app” refers to Visa Track for iPhone.

No account, one app identifier

Visa Track works without sign-up and does not ask for your name, email address or password. The app uses an identifier generated for the installation to keep your cloud data separate from other users’ data. This identifier is not your name, Apple ID or passport number.

Travel and profile information

If you choose to create a traveler profile or trip, the app may store passport countries and passport issue and expiry dates; country of residence; date of birth or age range; travel purpose; destinations, transit countries and trip dates; intended length of stay; previous visa countries; biometric collection region and date; travel-party details; visited countries; trip plans, checklist progress, reminders, application status and notes. This information is used to provide visa eligibility, readiness guidance, trip organization and reminders. Fields are optional except where the app needs a passport country and destination to answer a visa question.

The app does not ask for or store a passport number. Traveler and trip information is not sent to advertising or analytics services.

Documents

If you use the optional document vault, the files you choose — such as passport copies, photos, confirmations or other travel documents — are uploaded to private cloud storage. The app also stores technical metadata needed to manage each file, including its type, size, related trip, status, expiry date and timestamps. Original filenames are discarded. Document contents are not read with OCR, analysed by AI or used for advertising.

Documents are protected in transit, access-controlled in storage and available through short-lived download links. A temporary copy may be placed on your device while you view a document; it is protected by iOS file protection, excluded from backup and deleted when the viewer closes or the app next launches.

Cloud storage and processing

Traveler profiles, trips, reminders, application status and document metadata are stored in Google Cloud Firestore. Document files are stored in Google Cloud Storage. The Visa Track backend runs on Google Firebase in the European Union. Google may process limited technical information, such as IP address and request diagnostics, to deliver and secure these services. Firebase’s privacy information applies.

Visa searches and official information

When you check a visa requirement or request a personalized readiness plan, the app sends the selected passport country, destination and relevant profile answers to the Visa Track backend. They are used to return the requested result. Visa Track is an independent planning tool and is not a government authority or visa-processing agency.

Usage statistics, diagnostics and configuration

Visa Track uses Google Analytics for Firebase to understand how features are used. It sends product-interaction information such as screen views, feature actions, app version, language, subscription status and a session identifier. It does not send passport numbers, dates of birth, filenames, document contents or free-text notes to analytics. Firebase Crashlytics receives crash and performance diagnostics, including technical information about the device and app. Firebase Remote Config provides app settings such as feature limits and paywall timing.

Advertising measurement and tracking permission

Visa Track does not display ads. The app may ask for Apple’s App Tracking Transparency permission so I can measure whether ads for Visa Track on Meta services lead to installs or subscriptions. If you allow tracking, the Meta SDK may receive the device advertising identifier together with app activation, interaction, checkout and purchase events for attribution and advertising measurement. If you decline, the app does not send the advertising identifier or behavioral events to Meta and all app features remain available. The SDK may still process limited activation and technical information without the advertising identifier for basic measurement. You can change the permission at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. Meta’s privacy policy applies.

Purchases

Subscriptions are sold and billed by Apple through the App Store; I do not receive your payment-card details. RevenueCat processes an anonymous app-customer identifier, subscription status and purchase history so the app can validate entitlements and restore purchases. It may also receive Firebase and Meta attribution identifiers to measure subscription performance. RevenueCat’s privacy policy applies. Apple processes App Store transactions under Apple’s privacy policy.

Notifications

Trip and visa reminders are scheduled on your device using Apple’s notification system. The notification text and schedule stay on your device unless a feature explicitly says it uses a cloud alert.

How information is used and shared

I use information only to operate, secure and improve Visa Track; provide requested visa and trip features; maintain subscriptions; diagnose problems; measure product use; and, when you allow tracking, measure advertising. I do not sell your personal information. Information is shared only with the service providers described above, when you direct the app to do so, or when required by law.

Retention and deletion

Traveler, trip, reminder, application and document data is kept while you use the service or until you delete it. You can delete an individual document in the app. To remove all cloud data owned by your app identifier, use Settings → Delete My Data; the backend deletes document files first, then their metadata, trips, applications, reminders, traveler profile and passport history. Deleting the app removes local data but does not by itself remove cloud records.

Analytics, crash, attribution and purchase records are retained according to Firebase, Meta, RevenueCat and Apple settings and policies. If you want help accessing, correcting or deleting information associated with your installation, email me. I may need information such as your app identifier or an approximate usage date to locate records, and I may retain limited records when required for security, fraud prevention, accounting or legal compliance.

Your choices

You can leave optional profile fields blank, avoid the document vault, delete documents or all app data, turn notifications off in iOS Settings and deny or later revoke tracking permission. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing, or receive a portable copy of your personal information. Contact me to make a request.

International processing

Firebase infrastructure for Visa Track is configured in the European Union, but Google and the other service providers named above may process information in other countries under their own legal safeguards.

Children

Visa Track is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided information, contact me so it can be deleted.

Security

I use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including encrypted network connections, access-controlled cloud storage and separation of each installation’s records. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Material changes may also be communicated in the app.
